For our transition coop for our 4 week old flock who isn’t transitioned yet to the larger flock who free range - we put hardwire cloth covered windows on both sides to increase airflow across the coop. Living in Florida it’s crazy hot and so more air and shade the better!
Here is Bumblebee. He is a cross between a Buff hen and Barred Rock rooster. He is docile and knows his place with his dad, Joe (rooster dad) who is not so friendly.
