Sounds good @Tookie I have another chicks in the brooder box but I was afraid when he got two to three months old and I put him out there with the older hens they would beat him up plus the other too bantam roosters at a young age and get him really scared a young one
Yes @Tookie he's just not getting anywhere with his attitude my friend is taking him to free range with hens so maybe he will be happy there this is the Lavender Orpington my friend is giving me he's 7 months old very sweet boy with people and other chickens
@Tookie he was showing a little bit not that bad and I haven't changed anything and no I usually have a stick broom or my dog with me but if I don't he will go after me I know when he was raised the breeders had to hit him with the broom as a younger Cockerel he was showing some aggressive...
@Tookie I completely understand that for sure so since he's drawn blood would you rehome him? I always have to take a stick in with me or my dog because he will attack me for no reason at all
@Tookie I have a Whiting True Blue Rooster he's about 2 years old I'm rehoming him tomorrow because he's been very aggressive towards me drawn blood on me four to five times with his spurs I was going to get a Lavender Orpington is that breed sweet towards people?
@Tookie so it could be a female then? Does the comb show rooster yet? Like the rows for the peacomb? My one Sapphire Gem pullet looked like this very slow feathering I thought boy to but she was fully feathered later on
Hi everyone, I got this chick about 5-6 weeks old could you tell me if it's a cockerel or a pullet? Slow feathering than the other 4 got them all from Rural King I know there's a 50% chance a rooster can end up in there I'm not worried at all he's a huge sweetheart.
