I had a ducking with a similar problem. Made a blog post about it at the time....

Well, that story didn't end well. I wish we had culled her when she was young. She never grew to full size. She always had a major limp and got run over by her flock...
Here is another pic. You may be able to get a better look at #3's beak here....
They were TOTALLY filthy when we brought them home from the feed store so their first stop was a warm bath in the sink!
We got three goslings from the feed store a couple weeks ago and (of course) they could give us almost no information about their breed. I know this store orders from Ideal Poultry, so that limits it a bit. Any suggestions would be SO appreciated.

Since she is all yellow and has...
Juat a quick update. I took Miss Lydia's advice and picked up some NutriDrench from TSC. Unfortunately, they did have the poultry version, so I got the goat version and used just a drop every time we filled their gallon waterer.
I'm happy to report that the little duckling in the picture is...
They have a good bit of space but they are so nervous they spend most of their time in one enclosed area. They also get out to graze in the pasture a few days a week. I've never had a batch so crazy. Usually they go thru a nervous period as they are getting their first set of feathers, but this...
I have a group of ducklings that were born the last week of November. They are a mixed bag of WH, runners, and buffs. They feathered out nicely a couple weeks ago, but I started to notice that some were missing feathers right along the breast bone. Now I have a number of them who have nothing...
I was afraid it might be neurological.
His eyes look fine. I checked the area where his ears should be and there's no discharge or anything so I'm not thinking ear infection (unless it's inner ear I suppose). I also can't feel anything wrong with the bones of his neck. I can manually stretch...
I have a week old pekin duckling who is keeping his head tiled to one side and circling. Seems fine otherwise, eating, drinking, etc. The other 7 I got at the same time seem totally fine. He is crested if that makes any difference. Has been eating game bird starter and unmedicated chicken...
We have a wonderful Buff hen who laid just about every day. We crossed her with our runner boys and ended up with daughters that produce eggs almost every day of the year and drakes with much heavier bodies than their runner fathers. Here's a pic of some of the offspring.
I don't know about using a mirror, but we raised a single last year with a stuffed monkey for company. That seemed to help a lot. He spent a lot of his ducklinghood snuggling with the thing until he got way bigger than it. Then he would just sit on the poor monkey.
I never would have believed it, but when I got home from work yesterday, I mixed in a healthy portion of brewer's yeast with my duckling's flock raiser. Within two hours, little Arthur was up and around with the rest of the flock. No leg shakes. No panting at all. Hard to believe it could work...
I did fail to mention that these guys were started on unmedicated Start and Grow but were switched to Flock Raiser within a week. They have been on the FR ever since with peas and some greens for the occasional treat. I have some powdered brewers yeast that I can add to the diet if you think...
We have a group of ducking that hatched about a month ago. Since the weather is so warm down here, they have been outside since they were about two weeks old. Though they have plenty of shade and access to a tub of water, during the day most of the ducklings are panting with the heat. Lately...
