Get rid of a male Get rid of all of them Get more females I am very confused on what would be best. I love the little buggers, but hate losing them or knowing the ratio is going to be a nightmare yet to happen. The pen is now secured on all 4 sides, no ore hawk threat. -

Good morning! After getting real close today, washing the outside of her eyelid with warm water, looks like there's no crust, just wee tiny little feathers for a lid. It feels flat, like she has no eye under the lid. I tried to gently probe the lid open, but it appeared as though there was no... -

Thank you all, I will start warm cloth and ointment tomorrow am. Fingers crossed, not sure where I would find a small eye patch if required. She was nervous enough tonight with my inspection so I will leave her be for the cold evening. -

NH, doesn't get ridiculously cold, but will definitely freeze the water feeders. I have electricity in the coop, but keep their water outside. I may try some method of heater, need to visit a local farm and see what they do. Thank you for your kind replies.- valmont
