He’s almost hatched. He was very weak and the membrane had completely shrink wrapped on him. I highly doubt he would have made it if I didn’t open it and keep it moist. My incubator has had problems this season I had posted about it on my last post which is why this egg had shrink wrapped...
I just moistened the membrane. If he doesn’t make any progress I might have to open it for him. I’ve watched this guy AChickCalledAlbert do it, but I understand it comes with risks
So I have this baby, today is his due date. Very small egg and has not made process, very weak and barely alive. I unzipped his egg but he has not torn his membrane at all, no peeping and hardly moving. Do I poke a hole in the membrane where there’s no vessel??
It’s just a spray you make sure the whole body is covered, and once every at least three months depending on how many bugs there are around. It works very well within one dose!
Now that I’m not entirely sure, maybe 48 hours? Maybe someone else who knows can answer that for sure.
