I can get them to step up on my arm, I have to look up leather arm braces as they slip off my sheatshirt sleeve to easy and fly back to the roost , i had a harness on by IB male and he didn't like it at all my female tolorated it but she walked me more than I walked her, I know it will take time...
mine must be pretty tame he didn't like it but my hen tolerated it after I took the harness off she must have been shell shocked as she just sat on my lap looking at my phone as Ii filmed her. she walked me more than i walked her but it was the first time hoping it will get better
Has any one tried to harness their peafowl i have a new harness and plan on attempting it they let me hold them but not happy about it any ideas would be great
do you ship? I'm refering to the bantam buff laced polish I live in NY I cant seem to find any breeders
My granddaughter is in 4-H and has been looking for a pair for awhile now
looking for chicks 100 miles north of NYC ...(Where Woodstock festival happened 1969 )
will travel north, south, east, or west 100-150 miles
cant seen to find anything in my area, or a couple of year old hens
my 3 chicks are 6 weeks today I have done a (white witch) "THING" on them and the two larger are suppose to be girls and the littler one a boy all born the same day all legs the same length, so confused haven't a clue to who's who or what's what
thank you to all that answered i have the safe-gard but my peachicks are just 18 days old and paranoid that some thing will happen to them, they are in their own pen fresh grass with a very good mother hen (chicken) I haven't found antwhere what is the youngest age you can worm them
Has any one used DE to worm and is it safe for chicks that are out on ground with a mother chicken hen, read an article where it is cheaper and safer than wormer and not a money maker for a lot of companys can someone give me heads up on this
can any one give me a site or pics of peachicks at every week as some where in the middle between 4 weeks and 12 weeks, they must grow quick, my chicks are only two weeks and it seems like I've had them for ever and barely growing
