    Finally on Ebay

I'm tickled pink! I finally got back to selling my fertile eggs through ebay! This (hopefully) gets me one step closer to living full time on our homestead. I'll be truthful. The amount of work on a farm is unrelenting, and in the past I have found it difficult juggling work, farm, greenhouse...

    waterproof this dust bath?

I may need something bigger than a kitty scooper. I have a lot of birds together. They have a nice spacious run. What I should do is just build a second coop. Which has been our plan for years.

i live in North east PA, and so far the table is doing well even with the snow load. The only one who has figured out to use it as a launch pad is one mixed bred chicken, and the turkeys. Love this breed. Quiet most of the time, but will alert you to strangers. Have them in with a mixed flock of birds; turkeys chickens, and ducks. They really watch out for the whole flock. All sleep in the same coop with no issues. it's a very curious breed wanting to check out everything you do.

    Vegetation in run?

My chickens destroy everything! That's why I decided on a fodder table. Give it a try the birds seem to enjoy it.

Anyone try to sound proof the coop?

We made a wooden box about 2x2 lined it with egg cartons for sound reduction. Stuff about 6 inches of gay or draw in the bottom. Our lid is on the top, just a wooden lid with hinges its not snug at all just enough were the rooster can't pop on out. It has a spilt i the middle with lots of...

What would you recommend for pest control? I had to use what we had in the store and pretty much that was it. Yes sometimes but the space above that becomes storage for the baked pine shavings and straw, sometimes they sneak behind their too.
