Anyone know where I can buy a coop with a walk-in run that is 6-feet tall, no more, no less? Dumb urban chicken permit rules. :~( I don't want a tiny or cheaply made one, but I also don't want to spend $1,000 or more. It's just for 3 backyard chickens.
I really want to learn the skills necessary to build a coop , but all my Google searches for local classes have turned up a lot of nothing. Home Depot and Lowes don’t seem to have any useful classes. Ideas?
Is there anyway to purchase something this beautiful "prefab"? I'm in an urban setting and to build this would cost me much more in building permits and inspection fees, etc.
This is beautiful! Does anyone know if there is a video (at normal speed) that shows every step of building with narration for someone who has never built anything?
I don't want a prefab that will be cheaply made and fall apart, but I also have NEVER built anything and have no tools outside of screwdrivers and hammers. Suggestions? :D
I am a complete newbie. My daughter is begging me for a pet chicken and I have zero experience with anything more exotic than a cat. I'm hoping to learn as much as possible about everything from finding the right chicken to making sure I can keep it healthy in hurricane central. :~)
