The coop is more like a house, it would be very hard for us to build anything inside it. We are thinking about putting the dog crate that the babies sleep in out in the pen, where the ducks still have access, but would have to get the heat lamp out there for them.
Yep, they dont have to be jerks about it. I just want to move the babies to the coop, but cant do it if the dang buffs are gonna keep ganging up on them..:he
Well, I'll be interested to see what my new babies are. They are roughly 10 weeks old, so I'll be interested to see if a drake feather comes in.
Now we are trying to introduce them and it's not going as well as I would have hoped. My buffs attack them and then laugh about it, little jerks :lau
They are 5 months old, all their heads are roughly the same color, not any darker or lighter then the other. There is also no drake feathers visible on any of them, but I've definitely been seeing them doing a lot of *ahem* activity in the morning times.

Today...
All the tendons in his legs were bad, basically Legs was able to rotate his legs almost 180 degrees, his hocks were swollen, they said thay we could put him in a sling, but that he would more then likely have lifetime pain. She works for our local waterfowl rescue, so I believe her when she was...
RIP Legs, the sweetest ducky around. He loved cuddles, bathtime and pets. Before the vet put him to sleep, he walked his way over to my chest, pushed his body against me and cuddled his head in my kneck. That pretty much broke me.
