    That is kind of what I was thinking too, where two eggs got packed in there together! They are moulting or at least probably would have been when the egg had been laid.

    The one that my sister found was definitely just slimy membrane. Contained nothing firm and no yolk.

    It was from one of 9 white leg horn They do have access to free choice oyster shell - it's hard to monitor though I suppose if each one is using it.

    It definitely is a little freaky!! This was from an older chicken, at least a couple of years old. The egg was very big and had a yolk in there as well as this.

    Hi all, Just looking for some feedback about this one. Almost 18 weeks. Haven't heard a crow and no comb or wattle but the feathers have me thinking it's a he.
