Well, I got lucky. Was going to pick her up and move her, but she got the babies inside by herself. I was afraid to move her, she is vicious when she has babies. Anyway it all worked out. Whew

I know its a silly question, but one of my chickens is grabbing a mouthful of feathers on just one of the others. I don't know if she is trying to mate or is just being mean. She doesn't do it to any of the others...……….....
Does anyone "leave the light on" for the hens when it freezes? 2 of my chickens are 2 years old and the other 3 are teenagers. The older ones caught a respitory infection, but I think they will be ok. The younger ones huddle, the older ones don't.
