That is great to hear! I thought that he would be afraid of the pekings because they are so much bigger than him but I love the fact that they are actually protecting him, it's adorable!
I am so happy to have found him a loving home. I hope that they will all become friends soon and I am grateful for you Trevor, being so concerned for his wellbeing and happiness. Oh, by the way, I think that you picked a perfect name for him :) Thank you so much!
Yes, he can fly. I've always kept my ducks out in the open so that they could fly out of danger if necessary, only putting them in a cool at night. I must say that in 15 years of owning ducks, not one has ever flown away. They must have been happy where they were I guess. I'm assuming that once...
Well, up until the flock got attacked, they were all very friendly. He is a bit more skittish now but he has never been aggressive. I hope that he will get back to his easy going self once he is back with other ducks. Would you be willing to take him this week?
I put a large mirror in the garage and I even considered putting a small TV in there to distract him . My husband thinks I'm nuts, lol and he might be right but I don't care. I think that even if he was to get picked on by your boys it's still better than being all alone in a cage in my garage...
Oh yes absolutely, he is in a large crate in my garage. He does not like it but I don't even feel safe keeping him in my outside cop, I've seen a few raccoons on my trail camera so I'm not taking any chances!
Thank you for that @MissLydia I am a very protective mama and this poor little guy already went through so much having watched his entire family get killed. I just want to make sure he will be happy and safe
