I've only just acquired several chooks and finding they adore corn 🌽 on the cob, (I thaw out frozen which they make delighted sounds when consuming)
Sunflower seeds, a little sorghum, greens such as silverbeet ,grated carrot 🥕, dry quick oats, green grass, a little Greek/plain yoghurt, shell 🐚...
Adequate nutrition esp enough protein and calcium, layers pellets, and mixed grain, green grass, bugs 🐛 help.
Stress free , quiet, clean environment that's cool in Summer, with sunny spots for dusting
Finally try putting some fake eggs around to encourage them
Good luck
Hi there
Are they getting adequate nutrition esp protein level & a good source of calcium such as shell grit or egg shell ?
(Disease and stress free ?)
A dust bath area that gets sunshine helps, maybe access to some green grass and bugs
Try putting some fake eggs around as this can encourage laying

Their droppings are compact dk green and white with no odour...
I've heard of dunking them except for their head
I've heard that dinking them up to their neck in tepid water with a cup of Epsom salts for magnesium can make them perk up a bit. Is she otherwise the same ?

or-best of all wool, even straw? Then pine-lining or marine grade plywood , so it's warmer & there's no condensation.
Maybe even timber shingles on top of the metal. I think doing anything should be an improvement- tricky.
