Good morning. I’ve done some searching and I can’t quite find the answer I’m looking for. I have a pretty large mite infestation. It took off rapidly and permethrin didn’t touch it. For reference, this is a 6 week old cockerel. The one half way in the photo is a 6 week old pullet. Yours looks like a pullet for now.- ShannonsChimkens

Canadians check in here....
Surprisingly emus do great in the snow and cold. Just have to provide them a windproof shelter somewhere. Even with the shelter though, they may not bother using it. Mine walk around in a foot or two of snow and act like it’s not there. They also sleep anywhere and don’t care if they get covered...- ShannonsChimkens

My daughter has 4 birds that she brought home from California. The male and female in the pen are supposed to pure Thai gamefowl. If so, which type are they? The other two males are supposed to be Thai game as well, but unsure with their coloring. Could be mixed? Any ideas? Thank you in advance.- ShannonsChimkens
