We live in a community in Florida that has many muscovy ducks. One of the female ducks (we call her squeaky) laid last year and hatched 2 sets of ducklings. This year she laid 6 eggs (one every morning) and then the racoons can and ate one egg and since then she has not laid any more eggs...
