    when the hawks got to my birds here and there they always left the guts. They plucked them and left the guts. Maybe that?

    remove them I would... As far as her killing it because it was not hers I don't think so. If they brood them they usually accept them as their eggs. They will sit on anyones eggsas long as they get to set...She just is not a good mother in general i am thinking.....

    HELP MY CHICKEN had green diahrea

    jeepers i don't know. maybe parasites? Is that what causes green poo? Althoiugh sometimes my chickens ocassionally have a green poo as well and they are all very healthy. I wish I could tell you more.

    30 chickens in one day sounds like something other than a fox. Fox hunt to eat not for sport. They take their prey and leave. Sounds like a dog to me?

    fox are not as solely nocturnal as some people are led to believe . I have lost chickens ONLY during the day to 3 fox attacks in my area during the spring when they are feeding their babies.

    Coyotes grrr....

    Don'y tie up the dog. The coyotes will kill it. Coyotes are working overtime at this time of year because they are having their pups. They are out during the day also so keep a good eye. We know around here they are not strictly a nocturnal animal. Neither are the fox.

    Do guineas need to be vaccinated for Mareks disease or any other

    According to my most recent issue of Backyard Poultry Guineas do not get Mareks disease. It was an article on vaccinating at home. they used a photo of a guinea because the author had no chicks at the time and he explained this as why he used a keet for demonstration purposes. Hope this helps....
