i would just put then inside the coop with a little light inside and cozy wood flakes. let them explore the coop on their own (with the feeder and fresh water), with the coop-door open , eventually they will come out and look around. I found that letting them do things on their own in their own...
kinda excited to have my first 2 eggs , BUT they were soft shelled and eaten !? most of the yolk was gone and the egg was pretty much empty ,
What do i need to do to get the shells harder and stop the chickens from eating them!?

HI m I now have store-bought chicks i,m only allowed 4 according to town rules . I got them about 10 days ago, ( 4 Golden comet). LOL i luv them! so fluffy! but you can almost see them grow, I think one is a few days older then the other 3 . they are doing well and i give them more and more room...
