    Thank you. That would explain the black chics and the grey chics that I'm hatching! Now what do you think my roo is? I was thinking lavender Orpington, but he has a little brown.

    I had a suspicion of one of them laying a blue egg. I got them at the same time at the farm store, so I assumed they were the same breed. I think I need to stick a camera in there to see for sure. Thanks for the input

    They are all tucked in, but hopefully you can see them all. 2 black australop 2 white 2 Rhode island reds 2 red sexlink 2 rode rock (not sure) 1 EE 1 Blue hen

    No feathers on feet I have 12 hens all are in pairs by breed except the EE and the grey hen. I've been getting 12 eggs/day and 2 blue. I'm so confused at whose paying the second blue egg lol.

    This can get complicated so I'm going to try and keep it short. I get 2 blue eggs/day. I have an EE and the other blue egg comes from an unknown. The only one I can think of is the loan breed that's blue. All my other hens are in pairs by breed. My roo is also blue, but I don't know what he is...
