As it says, free guessing game to test you abilities. So I have these 3 little ones about 6 weeks old. They have all turned out to be something other than what I was told lol. All opinions on breed and genders are welcome. Good luck and TIA.
Chick A (Kuchi Kopi)
Chick B (Jelly)
Chick C (Fiji)...
So the black mystery chick and associates are about 6 weeks now. All 3 have turned into something else so any assistance on breed and gender on all would be appreciated.

Really? I will have to look into that. Not much to speak of left as far as ash is concerned, but good to know the extra uses should I come across any. Thanks
Hi,
I'm going to follow this one as I have been trying to figure out the same thing lol. They really don't have info on it anywhere, only the egg selling. I will pass on any info that I uncover.
I was thinking that water would be an issue as well. So I have decided to do the hugelkulturs at the bottom of a pretty steep 10ft hill that way I can get some 55 gal drums and use them for a gravity fed watering system
Yeah I have heard from many people that they area is good for growing. we are still new at it and I just hope we get something out of this year vegetable wise. I am currently in the process of getting things together to start building some Hugelkulturs for next year and see how that works.
You should be fine, I'm not an expert though lol. I have a brooder now with chicks ranging for 3 weeks to less than 1 week. Everybody is doing just fine in mine, no behavioral issues.
So I got this little "lady" about 3 weeks ago. It was described as a blue rock, pretty obvious she is not. Any ideas on what breed I got here. Bonus would be gender too lol. TIA
LOL, glad to see you finally named them. My little runt Silkie is the loudest of all the chicks, I hope that yours are still doing well. Keep up the good work :thumbsup
Just an update for the thread. My 2 are still alive, the Polish has bulked up and is the size of a normal chick her age. The Silkie however is still the size of a just hatched chick. She is still eating and drinking well and the other chicks are taking care of her and huddle with her to keep her...
That sounds like a good plan given the terrain of my land. Yeah, definitely would need something for the aerial preds, we have some flying around here as big as VWs. My layers have that system down where they are out to feed them in the morning they they hang out all day and are all nestled in...
I will have to look into the electric netting. I still have some time before this kicks into effect, looking to do this next year. Only thing with the netting and moving it around I could see is the aerial preds out here. So many things to think about, see I too want them to be able to get as...
