Yes they have been doing great all together that’s why I don’t really want to move them but also nervous something is going to happen to them. This is her first full day out with them. Yesterday only 1 got at and she still stayed in the coop digging and then I ended up shutting the door and...
Hi so I am currently trying to decide the same thing. The mama is coming out no they are about 5/6 days old so they follow her out and I am really worried about them. Did you move them?
Ok first time letting them hatch. I didn’t realize they would be him. My females are Colombian wyandotte, Rhode Island Red, black orpington, rooster EE I didn’t realize it would just be a EE
Is it normal for her to be making a mess out of the coop. She’s not going to the run and leaving the babies so I’m assuming she’s trying to dig in there but she’s like almost swatting the babies. I have her worms which she got excited about hoping it will calm her down.
So far the other chickens seem to be adapting to it good also so I hope it stays that way! Now I’m just wondering what they are going to be. My rooster is a EE
Thank you I got her back on and my husband made her a better ramp for the baby. 🤦♀️ I was stressing but hopefully tomorrow morning there will be two more! Also we found first baby yesterday this is the picture so from her hair I believe she had to hatch after 12:00 Friday. I check on her around...
We have been gone all day and just got home and my chicken is not sitting on them. One already hatched so she is with the baby. I can hear the chick in side egg 3 and also there is another one pip. Is number 3 going to be able to get out.
Still only one and we just got home and she is not sitting she is with the baby in the middle. I don’t know if this one needs help ☹️ I can hear it in there
Thank you! Maybe I should do that on the inside! This is my first time letting her hatch. There is 4 other chickens with her and the rooster but they seem to be leaving her alone.
