    Just an update but I locked me in with em for about half hour before sunset just to make sure everything was going well... At first she was very upset not with the chicks just the new coop and finding her roosting spot... The chicks don't like to roost yet they like to make a ball in the corner...

    Coop is finished! (Almost)

    Decided to build an all new 8'x4' coop.. she's elevated 2' off the ground stands 7' at it's peak and has plenty of room for my 8 girls.. just looking for some more suggestions.... Are 2x4 okay for my girls to perch on at night? And will two nesting boxes be enough? Still have to replace the roof...
