HEN LAYED WEIRD SAC FULL OF BLOOD

She came to eat but she soon returned to the nesting box remaining there until 4 o'clock pm. Looking in the nest I found this...

I hope they will become friendly as the last hens I rescued, but those were all Lohman brown. Maybe they need some time to get used...

I'm not eating eggs since August...

While, in August, my two hens were molting and not laying, I've treated them for coccidiosis, cause one of them had a watery poop during two weeks. I've treated them with Sulfaquinoxaline 2% for 5 days (4 ml. per liter). I bought the drug in a specialized avian shop. After giving it to the hens...

    Sulfaquinoxaline - withdrawal time

Hi everybody, I've treated my hens for coccidiosis with Sulfaquinoxaline 2% for 5 days (4 ml. per liter). I bought the drug in a specialized avian shop. After giving it to the hens I red that it's not suitable for laying hens. The same I've red on the web, also in the Italian sites than...

    Do Araucanas Lay Less Eggs?

I've monitored my Araucana last few months: after laying 10/11 eggs she tries to brood them (I avoid this condition), then, after 18/20 days she lays other 10/11 eggs and again get broody, and so on... I'm so sad not to letting her brood the eggs, but I haven't a rooster... The colour is a pale...
