    Thanks! Yeah, that is what I've heard about the store bought ones. I think I'm going to give it a go at building my own. I have a lot of pallets, wood, shingles, chicken wire, etc. laying around. I'm going to have fun with it! :) I'll post pictures as I go!

    Yes, I'm referring to a prefab. I have an old horse barn in my back yard I have considered turning into a coop. It would be more than enough room for 6 chickens, but would need some fixing up first. I figure I could work on that while they grow. I know the prefab ones aren't the best, but...
