Cayugas or Runners?
These two are about six weeks old. I thought they were runners at first but now I’m unsure. -

I love the names! Our drakes are Clyde and Gus. Our girls are Fern (the dark headed one), Charlotte (the loud one), Little Lydia, and Large Marge. Haha -
Why won’t my ducks free range and go to the pond
I had to herd mine to the pond twice before they went on their own. Mine is only about 150 feet away -
my ducks keep sneezing
Mine were breathing loudly and I had to give them warm deep water for them to blow old feathers and shavings out of their noses. -
Is this natural pond enough to support ducks?
I have a similar pond but a neighbor down the road said they’re spring fed. We have six ducks and six wild teal wings just nested there. Now I have a blue heron since we been putting in our fish and minnows in it. My ducks are housed about 150 feet away and do their parade over there daily. -

I got these randomly at Orschlens. They are 2 weeks old almost and unsexed. The tag said “hatchery’s choice” -

The two back ones are my drakes I think. The 1 closest to me is the young one with the dark head and Bill. The one at the very front is a female with a dark Bill, dark head and leads everyone. Also the loudest too! -

I got sexed Appleyards from a breeder online and wanted 1 drake and 4 girls. When they arrived, i had two drakes and three females. They sent 2 "replacements" for the 1 that was mis-sexed, and of course 1 of them died upon opening the box. i am guessing they meant to send only one healthy one... -
