Had this issue with a chick and eventually he got out of said cup. Was louder inside of it. Hopefully it dries up soon so he can come out of the incubator.
Hatching takes time just like any other “birthing”. I’m on day 25 for 1 group and day 22 for the other group. Waiting is excruciating sometimes, especially when some have hatched already, but just be patient!

I do not think that there are any organs outside so maybe it is attached to the cord although didn’t look like it. I can take it out of the incubator and put it in something like you’ve suggested and put it back. Thank you!
