This is a young pullet. Just starting to lay. The one side feels like an egg. I have no idea what to do for her. I sprayed it with vetricin. She is separated from the rest. Just noticed it tonight. Please help!
This is a roo I hatched from some eggs a farmer up the road gave to me. Definitely barnyard mutt but he’s looking pretty cool. Started out as all black. He has a bit of feathers on his feet and legs. What do you think he looks like?
I spelled it wrong. The birds were listed as Ameraucauna (is that right?) actually I think my phone corrected it because it just tried to change it again.
This is TOOO funny. White boy, you have a knack! Don’t want you around my kids! Lol. But I’m sooo confused. I bought my “Americaunas” from TSC. So they’re actually not Americaunas at all?! Seems like false advertising.
The polish is almost 3 months and the americauna is two months. All my americauna Jane beards. Do all americauna have beards? Boudicca’s beard is relatively a new acquisition
So I hatched four chicks from some eggs my neighbor gave me. They all have feathered feet. The two black ones came from a large dark cream egg and the others were from cream bantam eggs. Any idea of kind and sex? Thanks

Funny thing is, I never have wanted chickens. Finally got them this year and they have been such a source of joy and bonding in our family. God works in mysterious ways
Btw, I am a 47 year old mother of ten children. The oldest is 27 the youngest is 13. Only by the grace of God my husband and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary.
I have walked through some very trying times in the last few years. Many times I didn’t feel I could live through and didn’t know if I wanted to. I found “Daily Light “ to be so lifting. Seemed to miraculously know what I needed to hear to make it through that day. God is faithful and my family...
So, his yolk sack disappeared. Must have fallen off or something. In the morning it was there and in the evening it was gone! Yay! He has finally been able to be reintegrated with his fellow hatchlings. So happy. He had a rough week. Thanks for your help
