I live in Florida and it’s super humid here, I had one super successful dry hatch and then MANY unsuccessful dry hatches after that, it was extremely discouraging, but I continued to raise humidity from then on and I’ve been having 100% pretty much since
as mentioned in this thread...
Here to brag and update again on my NR360 status !
It’s been pretty much smooth sailing once I made all those humidity adjustments earlier in the thread ! (Thanks again everyone for the help♥️)
I’ve had back to back successful hatches of my own barnyard mixes And silkies !
Here are two of...
The 10 others are only about a week older then the original 5 silkies I have left from rural king right now (and those are almost 2 weeks now and haven’t grown much) and then mine have been hatching every few days or a week apart, the silkies never show any signs of physical issues just I keep...
I have chicks from multiple different breeders in order to have different lines for my grow outs,
but I know the ones I started hatching from my adults are all unrelated for sure

Currently 🥰
But on a side note !!!!
Does anyone get anxiety when a chick freshly hatches and is still flipping all around ?!
Especially chicks with vaulted skulls 😬😬
I FINALLY GOT ONE TO HATCH from my own breeding flock
The other egg that was in there with it.. not so much, no internal pip :/ but I can say that before lockdown one air cell looked smaller then the other still so maybe that was it
I have two. I’m doing staggered hatches so one is just for lockdown hatching purposes. I know that all eggs set start the same day once you set them in the incubator. Sometimes I add 4 one day and mark it on the calendar sometimes only 1 or 2. That’s why I have so many different days going at...
Two NE360 incubators ! Everything in my turning incubator has shown life the whole process, then I switch to my hatching incubator and everything goes south
For the those eggs I don’t hear or see any sign of life 😕 it’s sad but it’s just my normal reality at this point lol
