I posted 2 roosters 8wks old that I need to rehome on Craigslist. Someone told me to be careful that they don't take them for cock fighting. Just wondering if thats a real thing. Any help would be appreciated. I cant keep them but I don't want them abused either.

i have 2 guineas-one male and one female and 2 chickens. had 3 but recently had a fox attack that took one. the guinea hen has something wrong with her legs...always has since young but recently got worse to where she can hardly walk. the male guinea and one of the chickens is pecking at her...
so i taped her feet and isolated her. that did not go well. she is not happy camper. gave her cottage cheese which she loves but will not eat it as she is upset. gave her some nutritional yeast too but did not touch it yet. hopefully she settles down soon. will now go to the store for some...
should i taper her feet? i read that they do that with chicks. not sure about an older girl like mine tho. and are the vitamins for chickens or people??
oh wow thanks....i knew guineas needed higher protein than chickens but read on this site that a lot of people give the same food when raising them together. i will try a different feed and separate her for a little bit. add some vitamins maybe too?
Two days ago i noticed my guinea limping. Then yesterday i saw her outer toe on her left foot was like under her foot. Not splayed out like the other guinea or the chicks. Now this morning i think the outer toe on the other foot is doing the same? maybe....it was kind of hard to tell. I...
thank you - this seems to be working. we made them a larger brooder as they were outgrowing the plastic bin i had them in. now i can sit and look in on them instead of down at them.. they seem less afraid. giving some meal worms helps!! they are not eating from my hand yet but i hope soon...
I have 3 chicks about 3 wks old and 1 guinea about 4 wks old and another guinea 1 wk old in the brooder together. I am wondering why they still seem so afraid of me. I think its the older guinea that freaks out the most and gets the chicks all worked up. i try to handle them but i am afraid...
