What do chickens do during rainy days?

I put some dried mealworms in their run for them to forage. Other than being broody, my chickens enjoy me bringing them some fresh fruit or other lil goodies.

    Broody hen

Ello all! Over the past few days, my 1-year-old polish's voice started to change. She started screaming at random moments and it was indeed quite startling. She plucked all of her breast feathers and just yesterday started to claim a nest box to herself. She has been sitting in that box all...

    Crowing Early!!

We really aren't supposed to have chickens. But we live on a Hwy more in the country than an urban area. We live in a small town but a larger city next to us is allowed to have chickens. The neighbors just moved in so we really don't know much about them. We've tried to wave to them but nothing...

    Crowing Early!!

My 4-month-old wyandotte is crowing but at 4 months. We were not prepared. We were going to order a no crow collar for him but we were going to wait. He has crowed at least 10 times this morning and my neighbors aren't the nicest. What do I do? Or is there something to do?
