I just saw this in the coop. Is this coccidiosis? My chicks are only 4 days old and they are eating medicated feed. I clean out their brooder every day and put down new paper towels. I am new to this so I figured I would start here and see what you all think.

It might be a crazy question but would a heated footrest like this work for keeping chicks warm in a brooder? I have one I use under my desk in the winter. It can be stood on it's side as a heat panel. I also have a 72 watt light bulb but I am concerned that I can only get 95 degrees...
