    Chick with Unabsorbed yolk. First time Hatcher’s please help

    one of our chicks has hatched with some unabsorbed yolk, otherwise he seems really healthy and alert. I’ve put him back in his egg and in a cup as I’ve taken a photo of to try encourage him to absorb the rest of it but he keeps trying to jump out! Please help

    I’m on day one of incubating my eggs. Temperature is perfect but the humidity seems to be really high?? I tried using sponges and had no decrease so have now put rice in. Will it take a while for it to change? Any of suggestions?

    Humidity for Sebrights

    I have 6 silver Sebright hatching eggs, and was wondering what humidity people find best to hatch them? My hydrostat is reading 50•c at the moment and then I was thinking to increase the humidity to 75•c on day 18. What do people find best?
