    Ok thank you. What do you base your assertion on? I was told to look for a three row pea comb on the eggers but have little else to base it off (like comb color) as I am colorblind. I clearly see three on the bird in the third pic but it’s not the same on the others. Thanks again

    I’m no expert but I know that is a cool bird! Also I believe the sickle feathers In the tail are a cockerel trait but don’t take my word for it.

    I am going to monitor the temps inside the coop and if need be I’ll cut a hinged door next to the coop entrance. I read somewhere that I should try not to place vents in line with their roosts to avoid them getting too cold in the winter. I’ve also seen totally open coops in midwestern states...
