I finally found my girls hiding spot. There is a total of 32 eggs here! They are in a pile of nasty wet leaves under a thorn bush. So my question is 1. Do I throw them away? (That's my first instinct) 2. How can I keep them from going back to that spot?

**UPDATE** For anyone who comes across this thread with same problem. It is not a full or impacted crop. I took my chick to the vet and had xrays done. It is a dislocated wing. The wing needs to be taped and immobilized for about 2 weeks. The hump more than likely will not go away.
My entire flock has been together since baby chickies. A couple weeks ago one of them dislocated her wing and had to be kept in a cage separated from the others. Today I put the cage (with her in it) back in the coop. One of the bigger pullets started packing at her like crazy through the cage...
