Hi, my EE started laying yesterday and I got the olive colored egg… today I got this other blueish green egg… i only have one EE hen, one golden Wyandotte, 5 isa browns and 3 Brahma hens… I have 1 Brahma Roo and an EE Roo… all the hens lay brown eggs except for the EE. Is this just a fluke...
Here he is a few weeks later… hasn’t crowed yet, he’s roughly 21 weeks old… we do have a Brahma rooster that is very much in charge, but this one just hangs out with the other EE and two Wyandottes that are the same age…
Hi! I got a pair of Easter Eggers some time ago, they are about 16 weeks older.. give or take a week. This black and white one though, I think it’s a roo, but not sure… thoughts anyone? Sorry these are the best pics I could get… it’s not very friendly…
Hi all! My Brahma Roo has been having his way with my isa brown girls as well as my Brahma girls...now one of my Brahma ladies is broody and sitting on the eggs...I’m just not sure whose eggs she’s sitting on. So, I was wondering what kind of mix will I get with a Brahma and isa brown if anyone...
Thank you! Yeah his legs are quite thicker than the rest that we have. We have 23 light brahmas and two of them have their combs and wattles— all of them same age— around 10 weeks
Hi, new to raising light brahmas— I think this one is a roo— please help :) can someone tell me if it’s a roo or a hen or is it too early to tell? It is approximately 10 weeks old.
