So sorry to hear that! I only got two females out of ten last time. Hopefully you find someone who takes the males. If you are lucky, your hen goes broody and hatch some more hens. Best of luck to you! -

Personally I use a bin with a lid. As soon as the head is off I throw them in there, flap, flap, keeps me and my place from getting spray painted. -

I take everything back! Dad Button quail is really growing into his role. He went from pulling babies feet to feeding them and is now sitting on two babies. It just took him some time to get used to being a dad. Don't give up if your male is not great with chicks from the start! ❤️ -

My button quail just hatched her first chicks and I have no idea how many. But she is doing an amazing job so far. They are all under her. Maybe you can see a tiny fluffy butt under her. I am so happy. 😍 Already changed the food to something more appropriate. -

My button is sitting on eggs too and the male couldn't care less. He is not acting aggressive towards her, but she doesn't want him near her nest. I hope everything turns out fine for you. You just have to wait and see how he reacts to the chicks and if he's bothering the hen. -
