From personal experience EE mixes keep you guessing. They are hard to sex because they take on a random collage of traits from each parent. Those beautiful red hens look nearly identical. So i don't know. It is possible. I know my EE with both EE parents has her own color pattern. She is darker...

Just for comparison purposes. Here is my EE roo as a chick, then my asian, then their chick. You can see almost nothing of her mom in her at all.

Could they be mixed with EEs? I have an Asian/EE mix. She did not get the EE comb. She has her mother's comb, But she looked just like her Daddy as a chick, nothing like her mother at all. I know little to nothing about PRs. I mostly have EEs. So not sure what a mix of that kind would even look...

They are very pretty. And as chicks they did look very similar to EEs in coloring so I could see how someone could mistake them. Especially if you got them from a feed store.

No i was thinking the same thing. I have some girls with round shaped but the color makes them look pointed. The op's photos are not very clear and look like they are cropped from larger shots. 😏 and i guess only us crazy chicken people got like 800 shots of our birds at the ready. :gig

You need to get a topical antibiotic. Do the soak. Then put the antibiotic on the bumblefoot. I then use polysporin over top of that and wrap it up.the polysporin is to keep it wet so the antibiotic can seep in and kill the bacteria.
