I believe this is a hen. I have noticed her neck feathers are pointy and she comes at me like a rooster every single day. Just want to settle a debate in our house lol! She is 16 weeks now (just yesterday), and is very vocal.
These are 10 roughly about 10 weeks old. Would like some input! The white polish is the same chicken, the black ayam cemani is the same chicken as well! Thanks for any help!
Thank you! He really is gorgeous and so good. He allows his ladies to eat first, he’s not aggressive with them either. He has 16 ladies to choose from and keeps his one main girl. Lol
I picked this rooster up a month ago, and he is the sweetest boy ever. He is so good to ladies, and is not a threat to humans at all!! The only problem is I don’t know what kind he is?! And I really want to breed him with my hens for backyard mix, but want to know more about him before doing so...
Hello,
I am picking these 2 Roosters up in a couple days. These are the only pictures I have of them. They are 8 months old. The lady I'm getting them from doesnt know what breed they are. Needing help identifying, as I would love to make some babies!
So, these two JUST turned 3 months old. My lavender just got feathers a month ago and my giant is much bigger than it’s other 4 giants from the same bin. Can anyone tell me if these are Roos or hens?
I am hoping for a roo, and out of my 16 these are the only 2 I question. I have a leghorn hen...
Unfortunately I do not. I had two and the other one was feathered right away, keeping up size wise with my isa browns and everything. This one is so small and feathering so slow! It has zero tail feathers at all 🤦♀️
This is my 9 week old lavender Orpington. I absolutely love him/her! I really want a roo with my bunch, he’s slow feathering but spunky and keeps up with his 10 sisters/brothers.
