    Recommended treatment for infected ear

I'd squeeze the infection or at least open it with a tiny blade to relieve the pressure. Then clean well.

What camera were you using before? I was always using a more automated series of Canon DSLR and this one definitely threw me for a few loops. A longer lens will help a lot. I've had fun learning and have signed up on SkillShare to take classes as it's much cheaper than anything else I've found.

Thanks! We have 3 pet Mynahs. LOL, all rescues from nest destruction. They are hilarious! I'm surprised mine don't say inappropriate things. They never stop talking that's for sure.

Official BYC Poll: Winterizing your flock's feed: Do you change or supplement it?

I'm lucky to live in a very stable climate. At 1650’ in Hawaii. It gets down to about 57-60* in the winter and 85-90* in the summer. We don't have predators which is why we have so many feral chickens. So, I do not make any changes to feeding.

How do you get a good rooster????

You don't live in Hawaii. Rows and rows of Roos set up for fighting.

    Not sure what to do?

I would clean the nest not the eggs. Or as best you can. The eggs have a protective coating on them to keep bacteria out. You don't really want to wash that off.

    Can Chickens Eat Whole Peaches?

We have a friend who raises pigs for Luau’s and he picks up all the grocery store waste for them.

    Can Chickens Eat Whole Peaches?

Our neighbor used to work as a dishwasher at an assisted living facility. He’d bring us the plate scrapings and leftovers for our flock. It was the best! They loved spaghetti night. 😂

    Can Chickens Eat Whole Peaches?

Our chickens get all our leftovers. They know when I'm walking down the stairs with the black bowl it's for them. They go crazy!
