Looks like one of my Silkie pullets around the same age. Their crests can sometimes be tricky and both my white Silkie pullets had very different crests (one was fuller). I thought my girl had "streamers" forming too and she stood taller, but her crest was just filling in :)
Sadly I've had to rehome all of my roosters, but I have a flock of hens including 3 silkies, 2 Bantam Cochins, 1 Mille Fleur and 4 laying hens (Golden Comets). While they all get along fine, my bantams who were laying have quit laying. My Silkie hen goes broody often, but could my Mille Fleur be...
Just hatched 5 adorable Silkie x Mille Fleur chicks in the incubator! My Silkie hen has gone broody, no eggs now and and she's claiming my Mille Fleur hen's eggs to hatch lol. Wow tough biz to break broody eh?
Hi, do you mean the one in behind the photo with both of them? Yes, the chick in front "cream" has longer tail feathers than the chick "Puff" behind, another photo attached
I have two white silkies and I’m trying to identify their sex. I’m not exactly sure of their age at this point but I’m told June 30 hatch date.
The first 3 photos are “Cream” and the next 3 are “Puff”, and a pic of the two together. My best guess is that cream is a Roo and Puff is a bit of a...

I absolutely love the partridge colouring on our 2 silkies, in the foreground is Thor, and behind is Tinkerbelle aka Princess :) I'm so happy we got Partridge, their colours are stunning.
We have 2 roosters, a Silkie rooster (Thor) and a Mille Fleur (Miles) who is loud but we find ourselves looking forward to his grow every morning. Lately Thor is chiming in with a much more “docile” low key crow :) it brings a smile to our face every morning. We had to rehome 2 Silkie roos but...
The one Silke Roo remaining in the coop is somewhat standoffish, quite dominant but not an AH. The hens and the other Mille Fleur roo seem to get along with him. He’s not in anyway cuddly but he seems to want to do his job and keep the peace.
