    Oh that is good news. I’ve definitely got two of one breed and one of another. No 1 is quieter had wing feathers twice as long as the other two and had little sprouty tail feathers today.

    Yes. Good one didn’t make it. Cannot work out Sexing. That I was positive but now not sure. I’ll up load photos. Are bantams harder to wing sex?

    There great fun and easy to keep. I’ve just hatched chicks for the first time of keeping chickens for 10 years . So that’s a learning curve. Think the chicks are all cockerels, but hay ho.

    Sulmtalers .. keep going broody and so not very good Layers so put one of them to use and just hatched three light sussex. So I shall have 4 non laying hens and 3 cockerels probably!!!

    Right - progress update we’ve had 4 hatch out of the 6. The two eggs left have not done anything on day 21 so presume were not viable - was going to give till tomorrow and then remove , is that right ? One chicks leg it all bent still and it can’t move about very easily- any suggestions on...
