Hey all, due to unforseen circumstances, i can no longer keep my ducks😔😔😔, my significant other and i have decided to go seperate ways and with that i am moving, so i cannot take my ducks. I have 6 ducks 3 drakes!!!
Due to unforseen circumstances I must rehome my 6 ducks and 3 drakes. I'm located in southern VT if anyone is interested. They are pets so I would prefer they goto to someplace that will keep them pets, but once they are out of my possession its outta my control
I was a little nervous about ordering from them since they are so far away, but the shipping was incredibly fast and all my birds were healthy, and the customer service was impeccable!!! I have heard stories of ppls birds not making though, but I guess thats the risk you take when shipping any...
I personally do not want my duck house being frozen solid and a complete mess, so they goto bed at 6 and get out at 730-8 everyday and they do just fine without until then, especially since the first thing they do is run and fly around to stretch out, and then maybe go find food and water or go...
Hello, and welcome to BYC!!!! u could start by taking the water/food out of the house at night, as they do not need water/food at night, that will eliminate a huge amount of moisture, im sure more advanced duckers will have more/better suggestions for you!!!!

I had a similar issue recently with my peking Rhondda, she recovered after about 2 weeks of confinement, and I helped the recovery along with durvets, vitamin b complex, hope Winston can do the same!!!!!
Pekings generally require a higher niacin content than your average duck because they are mainly bred as meat birds, therforeneed to grow quicker and bigger, and each bird also reacts differently, check out this thread on niacin...
I removed what I could, but nearly impossible to get them all, but I have noticed the ducks pay them no attn at all, but I will continue to hunt them down til winter!!!
I would give it orally and not in the water, not sure how you are going to administer it, but in the water can give a foul taste that may turn the ducks off to drinking
