can you like, set the temp in and incubator to have spesifically hens or rooster? Cause doesn't it matter what the temp is to detemine if it's a hen of roo???Wait...i think that's crocodiles.....lol, lol, lol!!!
we have red and white leghorns, well the red L. heads are raw due to our rooster. Is there anything we can put on the back of there heads??? I heard some type of tar one time but....IKD, give brand names and such if you know what to use! Thanks. Oh, why is it that only the red l. have the raw...

WE hated the fact we HAD to kill them but...chickens cost money and are one of our investments and...we could stand to loose any more chickens (the hawk got one of the chickens).
LOL, there is a reason there called chicken hawks...We had to shoot three hawks that kept waiting for a chance to eat our chickens...we now have them in a pen WITH A ROOF. We had to shoot one of the three cause i was living in our horses barn and was eating one of the five resident pigons...
:PAs much fun as I'm having with the comments of the egg, I really need help with the raw heads due to mating. WE CAN'T seperate them so...would a glob of vasile work or vinigar spray.......help......

*I've read that if you spritz the birds w/ cider vinegar& water solution they'll quit pecking each other. BUT Only have 1 hen at the moment so only tried it for itchy bird!
Does anyone else have any more help or info? Does the above post work?
