That is true! I could have put it better, but thanks for the input! The wyandotte going out and surprising me. This is only our second year and both of these breeds are new to us, so still seems very much like a learning experience. Fun watching them grow regardless 😊
Anyone want to take a guess at what my olive egger may end up being? I know it's too early to know anything definitively this young. I only have our 4 week old black wyandotte to compare it to right now, but the olive egger sure does look gigantic next to it!

We ordered through a farm store here, who orders from Hoovers. All the birds were in great condition, the farm store just gave us the wrong breed. We won't be using that farm store again.
Now that lavender Orpington has been suggested and looking at pictures, they very much do look like those. Just didn't think it was possible because we couldn't order those unless we did a straight run, but I suppose anything could happen at a big hatchery/or if the farm store just sorts them...
