    Alchemist Farm chicks Breed/Sex?

My sage egger ended up being a hen like I had figured. She was the one in the photos above that was more grayish. A great picture of her is on the left in photo Number 7 above. She lays a beautiful lightly speckled minty green egg. I could not be happier with her. Here is a current photo of her...

    Alchemist Farm chicks Breed/Sex?

Yes Franchesca AKA head chicken wrangler is great! I would defiantly buy from them again. But with all the fires here in CA and near there place I thought it best not to ask. As I'm sure they have enough on there plate. I believe the black two are Cocoa Eggers, the white chick is a Moss Egger...

    Lavender Ameraucana Rooster?

I bought 2 lavender Ameraucana chicks and I think I got one male and one female. Thats based on comb, body size, and tail feathers. But I'm doubting myself as we are going on about 3 months and the rooster still hasn't crowed. Is that normal for this breed? What are your thoughts?

    Ayam Cemani Rooster or Hen?

No it was clear as day.... It crowed multiple times! Also was acting like a rooster and was getting more aggressive! When I looked last the the waddles and comb had filling in and was almost identical in size as the other. I wanted it so much to be a hen. lol I was holding out hope but in the...

Deep litter v poop board -- what do you think?

I have been using the deep litter method and it's been awesome. I took Pine Shavings, Hemp Bedding, Peat Moss, & Construction grade sand to create my deep litter in the coop. It's worked flawlessly we have no smell or issues at all and we are going on 6+ months. I would highly recommend it.
