I originally got 3 chicks from tractor supply and was told they are light brahmas. After looking up light brahmas a day later, I realized they are absolutely not. Not quite sure what they are. I’ve included a 1 week and 7 week photo.
These chicks were sold as light brahmas (which I very quickly learned they are not) A few weeks ago we were thinking brown leghorns or Welsummers. Any thoughts on which?
I posted a few weeks ago about my silver laced Wyandotte chick. He or She is growing well. His or her comb is not growing much. Initially we were thinking rooster, but maybe a hen? I’ve heard Wyandotte’s are hard to determine the sex?
Hi! I recently received this beautiful cockerel (I think) names Hootie. He is supposed to be an americauna but I can’t find his coloring anywhere when I look at Americauna Roos. Could he be something else? He is about 13 weeks old.
This is my chick Gamble. She is named such because s/he was unsexed but I really wanted a Silver laced Wyandotte and we don’t mind having a rooster. I’ve been trying to figure out (guess lol) if Gamble is a she or he. Anyone have any guesses?
Hi everyone. I’m new to owning chickens. I recently bought what I was told were light Brahmas. But when I looked up light Brahmas my chicks don’t look anything like them. Are these ones light brahmas?
