    Yes, I have many structures, 4 watererers and feeders. Also a creek, and they free range all day over the whole property which is fenced.

    I have a beautiful Buff Plymouth Rock rooster, he is 15 months old. He has been sweet and mild-mannered. He seems to have singled out one of my sweet Buff Orpington hens, and attacks her viciously, repeatedly. I don't know what to do. Please help?

    Yeah, the oven would be a mistake. They only need to be 99.5 F. I think the heating pad idea is best, but make sure the humidity is supported with the paper towel.

    Another idea: it must have relative humidity around 65%, so wet a paper towel, fold it tightly place in box, close the box,wrap the thing in a heating pad on low. Let us know what happens!

    Sorry, just read you don't know how long. This is a LONG SHOT. The only thing I can think of. Lightly coat coconut oil on the membrane. Soften some paraffin wax. Cover as much of the hole as you can, let it harden and get it back under her quickly. Don't put hot wax on the egg, just soften it...
