    Decapitated chicks inside cage?

yeah he also has little cuts and bruising as any chicken who got into a fight with another chicken would, the other two had blood on them but only small little peck marks, didn’t think they could be aggressive at a young age but again no adult chicken in there, no way a cat could’ve gotten to...

    Decapitated chicks inside cage?

As for the older chick (no severe wounds, just bald and a little swollen), there’s little chance something might’ve gotten inside or reached inside since it is lined with double mesh and covered and the bottom is lined with bricks and etc, perhaps small animals but it’s highly unlikely, i have...

    Decapitated chicks inside cage?

probably should’ve kept it one chicken per thread to avoid confusion but yes will be lining the cage for safety, usually i keep the front lined with multiples of these little panels but again i never expected something to reach in and this cage is only used for emergencies :hmm

    Rooster disoriented, spinning, dehydrated, etc.

Yes he’s pooped a few times, some runny some hard, his crop feels like it has a little food it in, his eye and that part of his head do seem swollen. He only eats when you bring the food close to his good eye, otherwise he’ll miss completely, and will be monitoring his water.

    EMERGENCY! Open crop- possum attack!

food and water leaks out of the wound when she drinks and eats but has been drinking for while now. Im thinking i could possibly place a butterfly stitch for now on the bottom of wound to make it easier to stay in.

    EMERGENCY! Open crop- possum attack!

I thought about it but i’m afraid it might get infected and i won’t be able to intervene with what’s going on inside since it’s glued shut, i’ve been feeding her eggs and rice and she’s been able to poop it out but is hesitant to drink water so i will try lettuce and peas but unfortunately she’s...
