2 broodies hatched out chicks and are fighting - now what???

How did it go in tge6end? My 2 families are 8 weeks old now, and one of the mummas still tries to attack the other one if she gets near, so her babies are really timid. They are ok out in the garden because they can keep away, but taking down the barrier in the run still isn't possible.

    Polish hens or roos

Hi all you Polish experts - I have 3 polish chicks, now nearly 9 weeks. Desperate to know the sex as we can't keep roos round here. Will post some pics if I can get them to keep still. When they were tiny I thought the head fuzz indicated female for the frizzy one, but 'she' now has wattles and...

Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

It's a cream legbar, one of 2. The other one we knew was male from day 1 because of the colouring, but this one was a bit ambiguous. Hope you are right about it being a pullet, the comb on the male is definitely bigger so fingers crossed.

Hi everyone. I have 2 legbars and 2 Polish. All 8 weeks old. I know the silvery grey legbar is make, because his colours at hatching were very definite, the brownish one was less clear 'she' is smaller, thinner legs, smaller comb and so far no wattkes, but worried may just be a slower developer...

    Pullets or roosters?

Sorry, the 2 pics are of 2 of the polish chicks (the 3rd is identical to the black one, and with a different mum) it's so hard getting pictures when they don't keep still! Will try and get some more later.

    Pullets or roosters?

Hi everyone I have 5 new chicks hatched to my 2 broody chickens. 3 are Pokish, 2 cream legbar. I know one of the legbars is definitely male, he had a very bright spot. The other legbar had a slight spot, but was much darker colouring and is smaller - could it be female or does any spot always...
