I bought this chick at my local atwoods I actually got 3 of them and they were listed as delaware pulletts I noticed that this one has been loosing her down but not growing any feathers is she sick or is it a skin disease? Also one of her toes looks alot lighter than the others.
One of my hens i noticed is missing an eye. I am not sure when or how it happened she doesn't seem to be ill and she eats and interacts with the others just fine but does anyone know if this is do to an illness or and injury? Oh and my ISA Browns are very mean they are even mean to me.

So my Easter Eggers are now 5 weeks old!! They are allowed to forage in their run all day and they return to the brooder/coop for the night. They no longer use the heat lamp although if it is going to be very cold at night I will turn it on. I still do not know which are boys or girls but they...
My little baby is still so much smaller than the rest but she is able to walk and defend herself now so I have her with the rest. Even her feathers are less developed. What could have caused this to happen?
She still isn't standing up but she did have some poop in the I had to take her flock mate out because everyone I put in was mean. She is not progressing in size not are her feathers developing. I am including pics first of the little one then of the others. She does not seem to be in any pain...
she doesn't look like she is doing the splits her legs are just very skinny compared to the others her legs go under her and she can stand for a little while but she doesn't really walk. I have looked at the articles about the splay legs but it doesn't seem like she has that problem. I think she...
So the more I watch my tiny chicken I am noticing that she won't stand or walk the others are all over the place walking on the top of the feeders running and standing but this tiny one can only stand for a few seconds before her little legs give out on her. I am including a picture of one of...
I have 1 ISA Brown that came with the 10 I ordered she hatched on Sept 30. She is extremely smaller than the rest of the babies. She sleeps more than anything and I literally have to put her in the palm of my hand so she can drink and eat without being pushed off to the side by the others. Is...
So my babies are now safe and sound nice and warm. I must say these look so much smaller than my EE did when they arrived. I am feeling so lucky to have such a great flock of birds
Thank you so much I do however have them off of the ground using a pallet covered with cedar planks so they are still not allowed access to the ground.
