Miami Florida... I have 9 Bantams, (fed 2 cups daily) and 3 full size girls(fed 2 cups daily) they are in separate coops/runs so 500# would be for most of a year...
Dude, I'm not knocking you OR your knowledge... I'm stating what I see available at my feed stores... and at the nearest tractor supply that is 30 miles away from me...What layer feed for under $12 /50# are you talking about... SH!T I need to find deals like that, not being sarcastic!
Great, as long as I'm not the only one..
Learned something else a few minutes ago.. just put in "pinout" at command line and an image of the exact Rpi in question displays an image listing the GPIO.BCM pins... pretty cool!
Now that I know the GPIO.BCM pins, can you divulge the rest of the...
@jthornton Well, I had to go in to work today... I had installed VNC at work PC.
for some dumb reason, when I was putting my Rpi address, it would not connect today.
solution... fire up "Teamviewer" (basically the same as VNC for PC's)
I access PC (at home) from PC (at work) to access VNC (at...
@jthornton Yes, I have those files... they are not the same size as yours, so I would assume they need to be updated... (my file coop3 is also green/executible)
I have done
"sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade"
How do I update other files... getting closer..
@jthornton
I'm still stuck at
"File "/home/rob/bin/coop3", line 33, in <module>
from rpi_utilities import ledfade
ImportError: cannot import name 'ledfade' from 'rpi_utilities' (/home/rob/bin/rpi_utilities.py)"
what did I miss?
@jthornton doesn't VNC do the same thing... monitor, keyboard, mouse...( would have to buy moitor, keyboard, mouse...)
I did/do work in the Rpi, on github repo, I do not see the "copy" code icon. that is why I was asking easier way/what am I missing?
I do want to learn the right way...
@jthornton
I couldn't seem to get the file... on Windows, I can be on github, download the files, cant get the files on Rpi without removing sd card putting it in windows PC.
On the Rpi, I went to github, see your files, cant download them... I did copy and paste the code to the RPI coop3...
@jthornton well, I ended up opening this thread in cromium, on my Rpi via vnc, downloaded the files to my Rpi, (download folder, extracted them "here")
moved them to the bin folder, made coop3 executable
ran it in terminal,
had to install astral library,
then had to install PyQt5 library,
NOW...
@jthornton Ok, I did manage to download the zip file to my windows pc...unzipped it there... now what? forgive me but you seem to be forgetting I am not a programmer/command line kinda guy, but I'm trying to learn.
@jthornton I click on the zip file,
but i get an "Oops... We're sorry, the page you are looking for could not be found and/or has been moved " what am i doing wrong to see/get the coop3zip file?
